Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies the Flowshot Help Center (help.flowshot.app) uses, and the choice you're given over each. It supplements Flowshot's main Cookie Policy, which covers the main product.

Strictly necessary

A session cookie (httpOnly, secure, signed) that keeps you signed in. It's required for the site to work — without it, we can't tell that a request comes from your logged-in session — so it's set automatically and isn't part of the choice below.

It's not used for advertising or tracking across other sites, and it's cleared when you log out or when your session expires.

Analytics (optional)

If you accept, we load Umami — a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool we also use on the main Flowshot app — to see which help articles are useful and where people drop off. It doesn't set a tracking cookie or collect personal data; it counts page views without identifying you individually.

If you decline, it's never loaded and no analytics data is collected from your visit.

Your choice

The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept or decline analytics; your choice is remembered in your browser (via localStorage, not a cookie) so we don't ask again. You can change your mind at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

We don't use advertising or retargeting cookies of any kind.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking our session cookie will sign you out and prevent you from staying logged in.
